Darlington: The Lady in Black has chosen her grid

Published by rlspence at 7:27 pm under CUP SERIES, DRIVERS, NASCAR, NATIONWIDE, NEWS, NEWS, Racing Edit This

Leave it to a Lady to be too tough to tame! The Dearest Track on the circuit has been a NASCAR tradition for 60 years. And, like the best women, She knows how to get a man’s motor running.

The Nationwide race (due to start momentarily) will be started with Kyle Rowdy Busch on the pole as the qualifier for the Diamond Hill Plywood 200 was rained out. They line up by points, and attempt to concure the affections of the Lady herself.

The Cup series will race tomorrow night. Matt Kenseth will lead the field, after winning the pole just minutes ago. (speed 179.514/ time 27.394 sec)

Practice proved only one thing-

If you don’t respect the LADY she will reach out and slap you!

Many cars ended up sporting the famous “darlington stripe”.

Time to check out the Nationwide Race see you again here soon!
